The lines in the face are a bit too hard (making him look like an older Neo) but it's looking pretty good, Salvy. :)

I like the fabric on his coat - good job.

And just for future reference, Salv, this should be in the Modelling Section, not the general showcase. The mods will probably move it anyway, but if you come here one day wondering where it is... ;)

Yeah, I know. But it's still a model. So it should go in the modelling forum, IMO. I mean, it's not like model WIP threads get moved to the skinning showcase when they start getting skinned, so why should this one be any different?

It's a new model. Therefore, it's called a model. If is was a reskin of an existing mode, it's be called a skin. And yes, he does look like an older Neo. Are the glasses modelled on or just skinned? And do they have a shader to make them shiny? :D

that looks really nice (way better then the neo skin recently posted on jk2files) but the face could use a little work

you just need to lighten up the lines a bit and it will look more like him in my opinion

His buttons dont line the entire rim of the coat. They go to his waist so his coat has more of a flow to it when he walks, or in this case, flies.

Cool model, whoever did it. It's not clear in this thread ... maybe it was, the bickering about where this thread should be really threw me off.

Just watched the movie: No buttons
Looking at my replica: No buttons

Not trying to be a broken record but there are no buttons below the waist.

this is completely oblivious to the model...or skin..or...whatever! But I always get a better kick out of Ed's post if I imagine Stewie's saying the words..uhm..ok...

buttons or no buttons, he has too many age marks. If you want to had detail add that stubby beard, I can vaguely see it in the picture you used to show the buttons.

and further more, what do those buttonsdo exactly? if you buttoned them all up it's be all, weird. I guess it's just for look...?

New screenshot, new screenshot, new screenshot! :D

Seriously though Salvy, what's up with the skin? Has it been pushed to the back because of your other projects? ;)
