Post your times for beating KOTOR
mine was: 36h 1m
1st time: 55 Hours(but that's with leaving the game running and answering the phone and going to the bathroom without pressing pause some times).
2nd time: 40 hours.
I was at 39 hour into the game after the melak encounter on the leviathan when I encountered the deadly Mission stealth convosation bug- I was not as wise with my saves as i could of been and was unable to get around the bug- so back to beginning. 4 Hours in on Dantooine now though when i was at like 15 before.....plus I am alot wiser at selecting feats and powers ect now... and i thought i did everything on taris before however it turns out I only did half of the possible things....yay Light points! Im as true to the light now as i was before the game crashed- uber Jedi!

That's the best thing about starting the game over. Now you know what feats to pick. My first time through I picked all ranged weapon feats. That sucks when you are mainly a lightsaber user later in the game and you have the advanced sniper feat that you aren't using(at all).
even if i beat the game..i couldn't tell
my saved thing says im 1 million 4 hundred thousand etc. minutes

i beat the game in 28hrs 45mins. i didnt do swoop races on manaan though or play and pazzaak at all in the game but it did take me like 4 hrs to figure out how to kill the Tuskan raider bug.
I beat it in 44 hours, but i missed a lot of sidequests and i did the mini-games for like a minute each.
I dont see how anyone could beat it under 35 hours.
If you streamline your playing you can pretty easily beat it in under that time but you miss out on most of the stuff. :(
51 hours, but that includes that time i spent sleeping after i feel asleep. damn needing REM. always getting in my way of conquering the universe. i'd say i actually played it for like 40-43 hours. now i'm trying to hit 100% completion with all side missions and buying everything (thanks manaan). i wonder what it'd be like to hit the star forge with Me, Carth, and Canderous all sporting Cassus Fett's Armor?
I did it in about 28hrs, not sure what I missed though. I did finish all swoop racing, all bounty hunting missions including the secret society, did the trials, got all of the players, I even returned some items to the elders before the end. Was there something that I missed? I did dark side the whole way that might be a problem, but everything in my journal was cleared out by the time I was the Dark Sith Lord
took me 34 hours.....but i didnt do swoop races in manaan and i missed like 2 sidequests....and i didnt make out with bastilla!!!!!:mad:

I must see EVERYTHING possible before I beat a game..........
40 hrs 17 min. missed out on some of the npc sidequests as they weren't approached by anyone even though i made an effort to get everyone out and about. i also stunk at both pazaak and swoop racing so i pretty much stuck to the main/side quests that came up.
38 and a half hours for my first time through.
My second is around 12 and I'm half way through now. :)
1st time -lightside - about 33 hours.
2nd time -darkside - just a little over 26 hours
so the path to the Dark Side is quicker and easier? Based upon what anup said.
the game can be long or short depending on how u play it. IF u choose to play all of the sidequests i can see how it will take some time. But in general the darkside is quicker cause many of those sidequests are helping people and u end up killing them before the quests anyways. Plus the darkside has cool powers, like drain life which i have used to kill entire parties before they even get a chance to touch me.... p.s u do not get darkside points for using darkside powers. they just take more force points to use if u're on the light side.
it took me 39 hours the first time as a scout/ guardian combo.

First and second time through around 48 hours, did everything I could find.
Rest of my times average 28 - 32 hours, skipping the irritating things and depending on light or darkside. :D
20 hours, really more like 34 hrs, but I left it on at night a lot of times.
The fastest I've done it was under 9 hours, but my longest is around 80 hours and still going (testing/having fun with mods)
The first time I played it took just under 56 hours, I wanted to find everything. Now i average around 35 to 40 hours to complete including finishing all side quests and mini games.
My first time was 28 hours my 10th time i managed 18 hours with every quest

Well it was my 4th playthrough and I already did it for male/female LS and Male DS so the only thing left to do was see if the ending for the female DS is very different. Which of course it isn't really that different So I basically did the minimum and used turbo to get around faster and got my adddarkside cheat to get my character maxed on DS, but I didn't cheat to level up which made the final battle with Malak actually hard for once...lol

Ok I just got one game through Darkside, Turbo cheat only, didn't need the adddarkside cheat, 9Hrs 49 Min. :D
The First time it took 44h 32m
The most recent time which was about the 12th time i done it took 24h 16m
I completed it the 1st time in 36hrs and 18mins on my xbox but im playing it again and taking my time and im trying to do all the missions
I'm going to get kotor for my pc coz i want to mod it up for fun, and i have a question that im hoping someone can answer. on the xbox the max character level up u can go is level 20, on the pc is this the same or can u level up further

Malak369 has one but it doesn't seem to work, at least for some people, including me.
39 hours, 11 minutes for me, cause I did most sidequests, except the ones on Taris.
30-50 hrs for me . . .didnt really keep time :D

me neither and i recalled somewhere there was a mod for a massive amount of feat/force points when u next lv up

My first time was over 50 hours because like most people I wanted to do everything. After my 5th or 6th time I was finishing Taris in under an hour and a half.
1st time 38 hours
2nd/3rd/4th and 5th 11 hours
first time: 42 hrs (only missed 2 sidequests)
2nd/3rd/4th - under 25 hrs (all sidequests)
5th + 6th - 19 hrs (all sidequests)
the more you play the game, the more you know what to do and eliminate lots of needless walking and hunting it does.
First time : 32 hours
Second time 26
Now : Im on Tattoine. My first planet after Dantooine and has played in 7 and a half hour
Being completely serious about this, KOTOR was a very easy game. And seeing as I don't have KOTOR for PC, my first run was to figure everything out. It seems like a jump but first time was around 30+hours and my second was around 11. Now KOTOR 2 is another story. I hated the plotline for KOTOR 1 because it was just.. too rushed, so I didn't really do any side-quests or games or even get to know any of my team mates. It was more of a speed run, to see how fast I could do it.. level up master flurry... powerful double lightsaber... tons of strength.. I'm sure someone will doubt this, but it doesn't bother me. :P
i beat the game in 28 hours almost exactly(first time). I think i missed a few things, but not much. I think I could see how u could get 40 hours or so if u did all the quests and stuff.
Over a month.... (With school and homework AND ACTUALLY GOING TO SLEEP AT A DESCENT HOUR.) :giggle1: And I didn't keep track of the hours... so that's all I can say.
DUDE!!! mine's probably about a month!! Beside, I have fun exploring around it, I took my time!!
