yeah, it is the old model that NLS kartoon made - he gave it to me to import but i had some problems with it and ended up scrapping it for a while
i figured out the problems i had and imported it this past week
this is sithlord-ii btw... the forum was acting up and i couldnt retrieve my password for some reason so i just signed up a new acct.
i currently have a tutorial coming too for JK2 modeling if anyone would be able to help me out with some crits on it...

firstly welcome back sithlord -ii and secondly :eek: that skin rox as it is any clipping on the cloak tho ? found thats a major prob with cloaks in models ive seen with the ams coming thru it :(
i dont think it is sithlords vader, it is a different one by nls that was being worked on months ago but dissappeared

it has blue and red skins for the model as well, they're just hue modifications but they do the job

i just simply repacked the same taunts that it had for the cheshire_vader model
there are 3 taunts packed with the model, only one works by default, unless using a mod:

yeah, what i did was seperate the eyes from the mask so it could use the same shader as the helmet flange... it looks pretty tite in motion, fairly effective

I've tried it. Its prolly way better than Cheshire's. Its not a nasty clip bug. Go to the red/strong stance strafe left and swing, on his right side of his chest there is a HUGE hole.
yeah, the hole behind the chest was hard to hide
The way it was modeled, only the front of the torso was made, no actual shoulders or back... that was a pain to try and hide and even then, ingame you can still notice it
so i did my best to hide it via two-sided textures and weighting the shoulders near the cloak...
the whole torso in fact had seperately modeled parts.... the inner cloak, the chest piece, the front of the torso, the shoulders, the armor.. for having it weighted and not having it all break apart, that was a *lot* of fun...

but hey, its ingame and it works fairly well, and it does look better if you put it beside the old vader model

Something isn't right about the model. I like it but for some reason vader will walk on ground in normal MP game but in Forcemod II or any mod that deals with model sizing vader will clip through the ground his chest is at ground level. I thought maybe I it was the tckmodel scaling size but it was set to proper height 1.13 1.0 Anyone have any idea maybe its just forcemod II and if it is Ill have to get hold of our good bud Azymn.

Nope, because G-max doesn't give you enough options to get a model in-game. Besides, off-topic posts like that belong in General Discussion not NLS's Vader model thread.
all i can say is, this model is phenominal. nearly flawless. the best vader yet.....except for one small problem. his arms clip thru his cape like a mo' fo'. fix that one small problem and itll be perfect.
yeah a lot of models have clipping issues and sometimes these issues are very difficult and even sometimes impossible to fix on a model, nls made an awesome model that is close to perfect so i think we can live with the little problems
This Darth Vader is cool, really good, however it will only be on my Hard Drive before that God Hapslash gets his 1337 Datth Vader Model out.
