Another in the line of previews from the LA summer media event ... http://actionvault.ign.com/features/specials/lucas03jediacad.shtml)

I haven't seen anything major that we don't already know from other previews.

There's one at Jolt.co.uk - here's the link (http://www.jolt.co.uk/index.php?articleid=45)

Nothing much to note in terms of new stuff ... but an interesting quote:

Like the recent Star Trek game Elite Force II, Jedi Academy uses an enhanced version of the three-year-old Quake 3 engine. Unlike Elite Force II, however, Academy takes place primarily in the 3rd-Person, focusing more towards light saber combat. The enhanced engine features the usual offerings of up-to-date graphics, complete with high-res textures and high-poly models. Animations are also far more refined than in the last installation in the Dark Forces series of Star Wars games, Jedi Outcast.

If the graphics match Elite Force II - which was definitely a step above Jedi Outcast - I will be thrilled. All of the screens I've seen seem to indicate that it will ...

Yeah, Elite Force 2 had better graphics indeed :) If JA matches that, I'll be happy. If it is even better... :D Now I just have to get a new video card :(

Well Gabrobot, he's referring to this thread (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?threadid=108267)

Just my luck that Andy closed down the interview which I posted first

My apologizes as noted in Swat's thread. I merely overlooked the exact URL link, and was trying to keep the duplicate Interview/Q&A threads to a minimum.

Hey - thanks for the interview pointer ... I missed that one while on vacation. Nice little segment - definitely more interesting than all of those me-too previews we had been seeing.
