Anyone else having a problem with beating the times? My first race I clocked a 23:45. This apparantly makes both of the other times darn near impossible to beat. I've gone through and done every quest so far, and I don't want to stop now by not getting Nico to sign but I don't see a way to complete this one. Anyone have any advice?

its tuff ya it prob took me a couple of hours
HINT: befored racing save the game right in front of the Hutt so if u lose u can just reload. Saved me thousands of credits.

on tatooine, the times to beat are SET. not like on Taris where no matter what time you you get, they have someone get better.
i know this cause my tier1 time was better than their tier2 record.
the couple times on tattooine should be close to 23sec, the last one 22 something.
like he said, just takes practice. Always be hitting a speed ramp, shift properly and don't hit any obstacles and you should be flyin.
i think my top time was just over 22sec, but it did take about 10 tries to get used to it and beat the whole thing.
Tat is like 22.5 or something close to that. The first few times I played Tat my time was soooo high and kept wondering how people were doing better than I by like 7 seconds. It turns out that I kept avoiding all the little speed things on the ground because I thought they were debris. Stupid me.
All I can say is make sure to hit as many speed things as possible.
Don't change gears too soon because it doesn't work as well.
Don't run into anything.

I didn't have too much of a problem it took me like 2 or 3 tries but I got my time down to 22:31. I think thats a pretty good time.
I dunno bout u guys.... but it was pretty easy for me to do. Took me like 15-20 minutes. I guess im naturally good at it...;)
hey how'd you do that? am i missing anything? I can't go lower than 28 or 29? what do you mean speed ramp? what do they look like? i keep on avoiding those things, thinking they're obstacles
There are little speed boosters on the ground which you are avoiding and you should not. Test out which ones you should be missing and which ones you shouldn't.

i got a time of 22:09 on the last tier and getting nico to sign is easy
On tattooine in the third teir i had to beat a time of 21:51 took me so long had to race the board perfect hitting shift at perfect time, hitting all boosters and as i hit em already be moving to next one, and missing every obstacle.
i would still like someone to beat me with my time of 22:09
OOOKAY. You have to beat 21:59 to get the highest swoop honors so most of us have done that. Anything else you want us to do?

no, you only need to beat 22:50 for any track outside taris to get 1st place there.
Are you sure? I think Tat is 21:51 (sorry about the 59 I don't know what I was thinking).

time to beat was like 22.51 seconds. in something like 15 attempts, i came in ranging from 22.55 - 23.00 so i gave up. wished i could just kill the hutts.
For me swoop racing was pretty easy. I think my best time is 22:36, something like that, which is faster than i ever needed to go to become the best on both Manaan and Tatooine.
the first time i raced on tatooine, in the first tier group, i posted a better time than the second tier racer, so motta let me skip him and go right for rico's time.
the second time, my first race was like .15 seconds faster than rico's time but i still had to do the second tier race. i felt cheated, but did it anyways.
my fastest so far was 22:40
Super easy guys, all you have to do is get everything perfect and you can easily finish this one lol. Just shift perfectly, hit all the speed boosters and don't run into any rocks and you'll do fine. Great Advice. Thanks.
