Can someone explain a Joke to me? (LC:TNH)

In Lost Cause Episode 1, Narrator is telling his joke with the Wookie, the Troydarian, and Gungun he's about to tell the punchline when so guy shows up and says "Take That!" and Narator shouts "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" What they hell just happened there?

First line of the radio series:

Narrator: A long times ago, in a galaxy basically just around the corner in the grand scheme of things… It is a period of civil war. Rebel forces, attempting to cripple the evil empire, ran up to the emperor himself and gave him a vicious Indian arm burn.

It was the Indian arm burn you were hearing. :)

I think youll find that wasnt the bit. It happens after that line. the narrator starts cracking up and then says 'heres the clincher' and then we here 'take that' 'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO'

Yes, that's the right part. Bad thing about it? That isn't the Narrator, that's the emperor. Same guy doing the voices, so the similarity between them is noticable.

That was the problem for me, it sounded like the narator was telling a joke that took place after the Rebels gave the indian Arm Burn. Not the Event itself. But it all makes sence now, the emporer was TELLing a bad joke when the Rebels show up.
